Careers in Local Government PowerPoint Template
As you develop your Local Area Networking sessions, consider using the Careers in Local Government PowerPoint Template which can be customized to your specific local government. (Be patient, this link may take a few moments to download). The template was created by Debbie Kurita, ACM of Santa Ana and is set up so that anyone can add their own pictures and pay information and present it to aspiring managers or to groups of Public Administration or Business Administration students to get them excited about a career in local government.
University Outreach Resources
Attached are a number of resources that can be accessed when working with Universities and University students relative to considering local government management cirriculum, careers in local government management and ICMA membership. Feel free to use these resources at job and career fairs, when working with university faculty and in other interactions with the next generation.
