“Why I Became a Manager” (A Series of Personal Stories by Members of Our Profession)This section contains personal stories written by city and county managers and other senior local government professionals in which they give a personal view about why they entered our profession. Their stories and reasons for choosing a profession as a local government manager are as different as the writers themselves, but aspiring managers may also see similar themes expressed by the authors.
Each month or so, we’ll add a personal story from another author, so check back regularly.
