Announcing the 2009 Local Government Management Fellows!

ICMA is pleased to announce the 2009 class of Local Government Management Fellows! Join us in recognizing their first accomplishments, which include:

  • Completing a very detailed application, including a management case study and personal essay on why they are interested in local government and public service
  • Passing a rigorous application screening process including review by academics, managers, and former Fellows
  • Earning interviews with interested host local governments and being extended an offer to serve as a Fellow.

All this in a year when hosts are down over past years, and applicants are up – a very competitive year for the fellowship. Here are the 2009 Fellows, including their academic institutions and local governments.
