Aging
Most older adults say they wish to "age in place," and expect communities to provide for their security, housing, transportation, access to services, health, and meaningful engagement in society. As a result, some communities are identifying innovative approaches to senior livability that go beyond traditional service delivery. Addressing these issues strategically is particularly critical given America's demographic shifts due to the aging of the "Baby Boomer" generation.
