The City of Richmond’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, RAPIDS (RVA: Advancing Proven Innovative Direction System) is an Oracle eBusiness Suite of applications that integrates internal and external management of finance, accounting, purchasing, human resources and other functional area information across the City.  The use of RAPIDS facilitates information flow inside the City, and manages connections to outside stakeholders.   It is a vital tool designed to integrate varied organizational systems and enable flawless transactions, improving operational efficiency and effectiveness, along with data accuracy, integrity and transparency.
