Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Mariners Centre (MC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the implementation of plans and programs in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the Board under its mandate. In accordance with the Intermunicipal Agreement (IMA) between the Town of Yarmouth, Municipality of Yarmouth, and Municipality of Argyle, the CEO has administrative responsibility for management and operational oversight, direct leadership of the organization’s management team, overall responsibility for the entire staff team; and delivery on key strategic, operational and fiduciary objectives. The Chief Executive Officer supports/liaises with the Board of Directors in its relationships with government officials, community leaders, philanthropic activities, and public/private institutions to champion the Mariners Centre profile.
