Serves as the chief executive officer of the City of Mesquite with oversight of all City departments, except those where the department head is directly responsible to the City Council; coordinates City activities with other outside agencies and organizations; provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Mayor and City Council; receives policy direction from the Mayor and City Council. Serves at the pleasure of Mayor and City Council.
