Muskegon Heights is located in desirable southwest Michigan, only four miles from the eastern shore of Lake Michigan and less than 40 miles from Grand Rapids. The city was chartered in 1903 and covers approximately 3.8 square miles. The city’s population is 9,755 and it is one of the oldest communities in the southwest quadrant of Muskegon County.

The city seeks an experienced city manager with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, strong management acumen, and a collaborative spirit. The successful candidate will lead the city with integrity, resilience, and vision.

Starting Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 with competitive benefits.
