Under the guidance of the Assistant County Administrator, the Public Infrastructure Fiscal and Business Administration Director provides strategic leadership in the management of budgeting and accounting to oversee the team and financial operations for the branch.
Minimum Requirements:
PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field and six (6) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory position that involved activities such as financial planning and management, contract administration, system analysis, and budget preparation. Experience with bond management is required. Experience in the public sector preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license. One or more of the following certifications is preferred: Florida Sterling Examiner, Baldrige Examiner, or Six Sigma.
