The City of Clive is seeking a Public Works Director to lead a full-service department of 36 employees responsible for water and wastewater systems, streets, stormwater infrastructure, traffic operations, engineering services, and construction inspection. The department manages a multi-year capital improvement program focused on streets, utilities, and stormwater projects, including major reconstruction, system upgrades, and traffic safety initiatives, and partners with neighboring communities, the Iowa Department of Transportation, and regional agencies on large-scale infrastructure efforts. This position will succeed the current Director, who has served since 2015 and will retire in July 2026.
